In relationship, there are rules or do I say commitment that makes it keep growing in spite of all odds. You can avoid divorce by simply growing the level of your relationship from this level to the level you want it to be.

Lets put it this way, anything that is stagnant signifies non growth or if death. So if your relationship remains stagnant, it means lack of growth and if your relationship is not growing then the probability of it hitting the rock is highly possible and then divorce will be inevitable. But in this article we are going to be positive because we all wants the best out of our relationship and only the best can keep us moving.

So how do we make our relationship grow to the next level despite all odds. We will start by what pull down a relationship. Which are lies, lack of trust, infidelity, nagging, selfishness and the rest. Now lets take it one after the other to be able to get to our point.

Lies: This is very harmful to a relationship as it makes one not to believe anything his/her partner does or says.

Lack of trust: this is one of the killer of a relationship as it brings sorrow and hate into a relationship. It makes people who are involved to go through pains.

Infidelity: this one is a home breaker, it inflicts more pains that can be imagined, in fact its one of the major cause of divorce in most relationships.

Nagging: joy killer is what it is called. Never sees good only bad, never satisfied always on the rage. Causes regrets and break down in relationship.

Selfishness: it destroy even the most beautiful of all relationship. Makes one to lose confidence of him/herself. Creates rage and anger in relationship.

Now lets get to what will help us grow our relationship to another level

Care: nothing boost a relationship like caring for each other, even the person with a heart of stone will melt the moment he/she is shown enough care and attention. Most people (especially men) believes that once they meet with up with the financial requirement of their spouse then they are caring. But we all know that this is not true, everyone needs to be cherished and cared for. So make it a point of duty to care for your spouse, even in the smallest way you can. You can buy gifts, take her/him out, and personally find out what he or she needs at a particular point in time.

Truth: instead of lying, its better you avoid the matter entirely, and if your spouse insists on bringing up the matter, then tell the truth, as this is the only thing that will keep your relationship from hitting the rock, make sure you don’t have a cause to tell lies. Even the old saying that “only the truth can set you free” would be useless if you don’t apply it in your relationship.

Closeness: the moment this is lacking in your relationship then, you are losing ground. Closeness makes you share even the most secret things among you. Never allow your partner to be drifted apart from you. Make it a point that you maintain that closeness you have shared, so that your relationship will get to a greater height which you desire.

Selflessness: this is the opposite of selfishness. It gives without with holding, it lavishes one with love, care and its as open as ever. Never thinking of ones self, this is a relationship booster, it automatically makes your partner to be more involved in the relationship. Knowing fully well that you can give as much as he /she is giving.

Humbleness: when we talk about humble, its not only the woman that is suppose to be humble in a relationship, but all parties involved should show some respect and humbleness that will take their relationship to another level. Remember that a relationship is a give and take thing, you only gets what you put, so put more love, care, respect, humbleness and you will get even greater returns. Remember that you dont need to settle for less in your relationship
