HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR VAGINA AFTER BIRTH

When we talk about sensitive issues like this, most women tends to shy away from it. But the truth remains that as a woman your vagina speaks lot about you, how to take care of it solely depend on you. During child birth some women may have mild bruises, and some may have what we call episiotomy.

EPISOTOMY: This is an incision given to a woman during child birth at the perineum in order to widen the birth canal. There are two types of episiotomy; lateral and bilateral.

LATERAL: Is when a woman is given a cut at one side of the vagina opening to enable the baby come out easily.

BILATERAL: Is when the woman is given a cut a two side of the vagina, if lateral did not give the baby a free movement to come out.

Now what are the steps to take to care for these incisions on the vagina to enable its quick healing and also retaining its normal statues?

                                               STEPS TO TAKE

Clean Sanitary Pads: Use clean sanitary pads after child birth to reduce the risk of getting infection. The uterus is still at the birth canal and has not gone back to its position so care should be taken not to be infected.

Use Disinfectant: Go for a very good and nice disinfectant to use. Pour about 2 to 3 cups in your bucket when taking bath.

Sit Bath: This is a condition where the woman sits on a warm and disinfected water to enable quick healing. Make warm water and add 4 cover cups of disinfectant into the bucket or round pan, add some salt and just sit directly on the water. This will also give you little bit of relieve if your having pains on your vagina.

Sit Properly: When sitting down always make sure your legs are not wide apart, keep your legs close together to enhance the proper closing of the stretches in the vagina. When you keep your legs apart it can affect the tightness of the vagina.

Exercise: Do what we call vagina exercise.  All you do is to lie down on your back, stretch your two hands down and take a deep breath, as your doing this apply some pressure on your vagina muscle, to help tighten the muscles around the vagina walls.

Sex After Birth: Wait until after six weeks before having sex, to make sure that the uterus has gone back to its normal position, and to also to make sure that the vagina opening has healed up totally. Don’t rush to have sex. Making your vagina healthy should be your first agenda

After birth your vaginal will still be as tight as it was before delivery, if you follow these steps, and am sure your husband will love you for it.

You dont need to fret because you can really maitain a healthy vagina without stress or pains
